The collaboration between The Homa Bay County Government of Kenya, Center for Rural Medicine and Lycksele Municipality in Sweden continues.
During June 13th-18th 2022, a team from Homa Bay County was invited to Sweden to work with their Swedish partners in a program for Equitable Health and Sustainable Waste and Water Management. The program consisted of several study visits and workshops, as well as formal meetings and activities that enhanced understanding of culture and history.
The team invited from Homa Bay County were;

Martin Omulama, Director of Department for Water and Environment
Stacy Otieno, Project Manager
The project is also supported by Yvonne Anyango, Director of CASDA – Cooperation Arena for Sustainable Development in Africa
The program was very successful, and the partnership will proceed after the summer holliday in Sweden.
The partnerships are funded by Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD).
