Partner and Project Program for Resilient and Sustainable Health Systems in Kenya Lake Victoria Frontiers Counties

Once again, representatives for the County Governments of Kisumu, Siaya, Busia, Migori and Homa Bay visited Västerbotten for participating in a program oriented towards governance for resilient and sustainable health systems - also taking climate change and environment into account when working towards this goal. Climate Action Network Meeting in Stockholm

In this meeting Local Governments from Sweden, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and South Africa met for participation at an international training program on climate action. The program, carried out in Stockholm May 13th-17th 2024, included a broad variation of thematic discussions of relevance for the Local Governments that participated. The program also provided opportunities for all Local Governments to present, assess and discuss their own challenges and projects with different orientiations, however unified under the umbrella of Climat Action. Governance for Youth Health in Homa Bay County, Kenya

Contracted by Center for Rural Medicine, Region Västerbotten, I work with the County Government of Homa Bay i Kenya in a project for youth health. A program in Västerbotten for both the political wing and the technical wing of the administration was organized for the partners to work with peer learning through different methods. The program was carried out April 19th-24th with activities in Lycksele Municipality, Umeå Municipality and Stockholm. This was the third meeting within this project that started
